Aelita Andre, young painter

At two I am a bit in doubt, but at four she is clearly working very deliberately.
Not that I don't feel the pain of the guy who says on youtube: "i'm a starving artist and i'm not amused by this shit." The art world is not fair, and probably never will be.

Man, if we ALL coulda had rooms like that! That young lady must cost a fortune in paint! :-/

A child prodigy that I have admired, for years, and have seen her originals up close, is Akiane.

A short vid

Here's a nice interview

Ther sure is a fine line between making a big expensive mess and creating art. Guess, it's an example of "through the eyes of the beholder"...

I'm not sure I see any difference from any other kid's paintings. And I've never aspired to be an artist, so I don't think I have any reason to be jealous (like that starving artist).

Is this really how people with too much money and not enough to do want to spend their time? I think she is an adorable little girl with a bright mind but an inspiring artist? Come on. Sure she does put a bit of thougt into it and it's so great her parents let her explore her hobby but it's another case of too much too soon. I will be very interested to see who she is and what she becomes. Fingers crossed for the best in her life but I am for some reason sad.

Yes, there are many difficult questions raised by talented children. How much is too much?
