Eizo: Pin-up Calendar 2010

[Thanks to Pi]
Eizo is a brand of medical supplies. This is their pin-up calendar. I really have mixed feelings about it.       :-)
Funny, I guess. But creepy.

It must be the Ne Plus Ultra of revealing girlie pics.

The shoes are a quite funny ingredient.

I'm trying to work out how this was done, as the most obvious solution, a simple massive X-ray exposure, MUST be the obvious wrong answer, based on health grounds if nothing else?
Which I fear then puts it into the realms of Photoshop, which is a shame, as I usually feel that this 'cheapens' a photograph, rather than enriches it.
I wonder if Pascal is around to chip in with an opinion from a medical standpoint ... IS there an alternative medical imaging technique that would produce this type of image, without nuking someone?

Alas, apparently it IS CGI ... which might explain the absence of visible breast implants ROFL

I wonder if these were retouched to make the bones look thinner? :-)

Porn for The Grim Reaper, perhaps?

Now, should I be the first numpty to make a quip about getting a boner (or not, in my case, with this calendar?) :-)

I used to create display images like this for RSNA when I worked as a medical photographer back in the 80's. The image was usually created on 14x17 inch x-ray film from a Siemens or GE fluoroscope.

If you fly from the US to Europe - or visa versa, you'll get ten times the radiation used to create these images. If yo fly to China, or Russia, they'll be able to track you a Geiger Counter.

For the next year.

Today's 'Question Everything' is:-

"Why do nude models wear high heels?"

Why do they need their shoes on in bed?

"Leggo dem blankets, Sapphire - Yo' toenails is cuttin' de sheets!"

But Eolake - I thought you were able to see the beauty in anything. I thought your liking of nudes had nothing to do with sex. You should be able to appreciate the aesthetic qualities of this skeleton.

I'm working on it.

I once saw a bit of a porn movie... a doctor took the leg off a skeleton and used it on the nurse. She said: "are you boning me in the ass?"

If beauty is all you care about, not sexuality, how come you don't run a pay site with pictures of rainbows or sunsets?
