Can you paint a camera?

I bought a white Pentax, and, well, I don't like it all that much, visually. So I'm looking for somebody with more patience and experience than myself to paint something fun on it. Just a couple of colors or whatever, free hands. I can pay a little. Show me what you've painted earlier.
(I got the white kit lens included, that might be painted too, though I don't plan to use it much, I just bought it because you practically get it for free with the camera and it's not bad at all.)

Some people really like the white version. I dunno. I think I'd like it better if everything on it was white. In the eighties in Copenhagen somebody had a Rolls-Royce which was white all over, including the hub caps and even the angel. There wasn't any chrome on it, everything was white except the tires (which could have been, technically). It was impressive.

-------
For those who are curious about the camera: it's very responsive, and has great image quality. The main downside seems to be that the focusing and the shutter are both on the noisy side, so it's not great for sensitive missions.

I don't think I've ever heard The Spirit of Ectasy be referred to as an angel before.

Yup! That is a GORGEOUS vehicle! :-P

White Rolls-Royces are totally bourgeois vehicles.

Espec. if you fill it half way full with cabbages.

Also, a sprinkler system is a must in these types of automobiles.

Why? Because when it's sunny outside it is so porn to drive about downtown and let people wonder why its raining inside your car!

Not a Lols-Royce mind you, but possibly a ROFLCOPTER.

Always do your blog commenting in the nude.

That's all I'm saying.

OK, I don't know so much about cars. Or anything much.

Hopefully your heater is working well - otherwise I'm imaging you sitting in front of the keyboard with trembling body and fingers, and therefore making a lot of mistyping, so we will all having trouble to read it ;-(

Maybe being high will enhance it? Or the contrary? I don't know ...

;-)

At least if I'm sufficiently high, it does not seem like a problem to be all blue and jittery.

haha well THAT was entertaining! Anyway, did we ever decide what to do about the white camera though!?!?!? Very interesting and I was a huge fan of the Pentax K-1000, hmmm... what about stickers? I have some on my lens shades that I like, Bikini Bandits being my favortie.

I would memorize all the controls and then paint over the black text indicating them with white paint.

The only thing black on the camera would be the lens body itself.

Perfect for the next trip to Antarctica or Everest - or to the UK.

Sadly there are several black parts to the camera, and some are of rubber, so I don't think paint would stick for long.
