Les Mondes Engloutis

New free song by Ugress, Les Mondes Engloutis. I like it on first listen.
(The page does not make it clear how to download it, but the text saying "Trouble downloading with Soundcloud? Here's a direct link" has a normal download link.)

I loved this series when I was a kid. It was so mysterious and had a specific, slightly disturbing aesthetic.

LOVED the beat! Had to play it twice! Going to look for the lyrics (that otter be a "fun" project singing in French, again! lol!)! :-P

Did you see that "you can listen to the whole album" on there?

I will check that out! :-)

Ah, where it says "Latest Ugress album Reminiscience. You can listen to the whole album right here"
Right.
I bought that one when it came out. My fave is It Was A Great Year (For Movies With Robots).
(Funnily my earliest fave of Ugress' is "Decepticons" which is also about big robots.)

No. Friggin. Way!
It was one of my fave SF cartoons as a kid too! Simplistic animation, but great design and imagination.
That theme practically hypnotized me, and my little bro can still play it on the electronic organ with his eyes closed.
I've got the complete series of its musics.
Well, it's complete again NOW. :-)

Eo, I'll e-mail you a couple of the best on the first given occasion. They still sound great TODAY.
(The singer had a cute lisp. :-)

I'll also translate you the lyrics. They're freakishly poetic.
