Charis Wilson is dead, alas
Edward Weston's most famous model, Charis Wilson, is dead at last, fifty years after the photographer himself. She modeled for many of his most famous nudes. What a gorgeous woman. And a photographer and writer too she was.
I watched the Director's blurb on the making of the documentary 'Eloquent Nude'. Very interesting. Shot much of the documentary w/a super 8; some w/HD in Oregon. I had thought it was original footage and had wondered how they had managed to have that much, the re-enactments had been done that well!
Charis was interviewed, twice, and was still quite the pistol in her 90's. :-) A LOT of effort and love went into the making of this documentary. I highly recommend it.
Aah, Anon Josie RAF, ever the loveable corrosive curmudgeon. LOL I'm a big fan of House, M.D. myself. I guess there's no accounting for some weird tastes, eh? But I'm proud of my cathodic vices and openly assume them!
STill, being more of a James Wilson type myself, I won't rephrase it in YOUR style. Just a word to the wise: seek treatment, sweetheart. There are very efficient treatments for Social Acrid Rudeness Syndrome (S.A.R.S.) nowadays.
Also, I thought I'd point it out as a favor to you: TC isn't a frightfully fragile sourpuss with an emotional skin as delicate as the Princes & the pea, so you're wasting your bile. And with today's market rates, that's a shameful squandering of natural resources.
(sob) Won't someone PLEASE think of the planet? :,(

A real loss. That lady was superb. And an accomplished person.

I bet if there are any they're not the least convincing - you're a very stupid person so I bet the rest of us wouldn't be fooled.
