Run Fat Boy Run

I've only watched half yet, but I gotta recommend Simon Pegg's Run, Fat Boy, Run (US link and UK link).
It's just a wonderful comedy and story on so many levels.

You know, Simon Pegg got accused of selling out by doing this movie. What the--?! I really don't get that. Anyway this was very funny. Don't we all really hate those people who run marathons?

Did he? That total BS.

Anyway, it was very respectful to everybody, including runners.

Yeah, because it was a "Hollywood" movie, even though there aren't what I would call big stars in it. It was mainly the people who loved "Spaced" and thought that moving on to anything bigger meant selling out. After "Shaun of the Dead" he said he couldn't see himself going back to doing more of Spaced.

It was respectful of runners but what I really mean is the kind of runner that Azaria's character was, who are really doing it for the wrong reasons. However I do find that kind of thing bizarre, right up there with mountain climbing. But, as the saying goes, it takes all kinds to make a world.

Yes, I hear you, on all of it.

I *love* Spaced. But well, you can't go back.

I don't think Spaced was released in the US. Where are you in the world, Jim?

I'm in the U.S. but I downloaded it. I only heard of it after having seen a few of his movies.
