Physical and limited

I am of the persuasion of those who believe the universe is not real, but created by the Mind.
And it seems provable to me.

Since the universe is physical, it must be limited.
But what is it limited by? Anything that can limit it would have to be in the universe.
So clearly the universe can't be real.

The second part seems bullet-proof to me, but the first part merely seems obvious. How do you prove that something which is physical has to be limited?

Why do you assume creations of the mind are not real?

Since the universe is physical, it must be limited.

How come? What we know from physical matter these days (quantum mechanics) does not even guarantee fixed location, meaning the same thing can be in more than one places at the same time. And then we have probable realities and parallel dimensions. To what part of reality do you want to apply the limitedness assumption to?

Besides there are simple

"Real" is a matter of definition. I define it as "existing regardless of thoughts" or so.

Notice there's still something outside the bottle.

The mechanism by which we are aware of physical things is Perception. Perception is directed by Attention.

Thoughts, or thinking, is a process whose existence we can perceive much like any objective phenomena. We can consciously move our perception to our thoughts and away from our thoughts. The way we perceive physical reality does not involve the thought process at all.

I think you must mean Real = existing independent of perceiver.

The reference to Klein bottle was meant as a metaphor. Of course, to map the concept to physical reality in its entirety we would need to have a 4-dimensional "Klein bottle".

The solidity of physical reality is caused by time. Outside of time, objects lose their solidness and exist as "malleable" concepts. You can experience this in dream state.

How can you affirm that what you can perceive with your limited senses represents the whole of reality? There is probably a whole lot more to it that we simply cannot perceive nor conceive (yet, anyway).

Of course, stupidity is infinite, but it's mental, not physical...
