Internet addiction

Internet addiction.
"Block explained: "The relationship is with the computer. It becomes a significant other to them. They exhaust emotions that they could experience in the real world on the computer through any number of mechanisms: emailing, gaming, porn."

Yes indeed. The healthy life to lead instead is to talk on the phone, frequent casinos, and watch the porn channels.

It's to write letters, bet, and engage in voyeuristic activities.

It's exactly the same, just slower.

Or maybe even more healthy would be to speak to someone in person, play cards with a number of friends (for money) and participate in porn.

It's exactly the same, only wetter.

I can meet more interesting people in one year on the net than I can in one decade off line. The net is a very efficient way to meet interesting folks.

I got to know a very nice couple over flickr, who got to know themselves over flickr as well. They plan to get married in the very near future, they're in the process of printing their wedding invitations.
The web's given me some more wonderful friends. I have a thorough insight into their thoughts.
My ink pen (correct name?) isn't working any more. The ink's got dried up. I don't care at all.
